National Mimimum Wage - reminder of changes 1 October

As you will be aware the National minimum Wage (NMW) changes each October. The NMW applies to most of your workers and establishes the minimum hourly rates for various ages of worker.

The rate that you must apply from 1st October 2009 are as follows:

•    £5.80 an hour to adult workers aged 22 and over
•    £4.83 an hour to workers aged 18-21  
•    £3.57 an hour to workers aged 16-17
