New Fuel Advisory Rates - 1 June 2010

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has published the advisory fuel rates that apply as from 1 June 2010.

Normally, HMRC gives a month’s notice of the changes but this time, after consulting with various trade organisations, decided against issuing an advance notification.

Previously employers have had the chance to introduce the changes early; now they should apply the new rates at once.
