Dick Turpin wore a mask -
13 October 2009

Yet again we have been amazed this week by a tail of woe from a client facing a £500 fee from their previous payroll provider for producing a csv file.

IPP Payroll Awards winners -
17 September 2009

Great news last night. We attended the IPP Payroll and Pensions Excellence Awards last night and came away with an award.

We were shortlisted in the Payroll Outsourcer of the year category and actually came away with the gong for Payroll Innovation.

The innovation award was for our work on developing our customer payroll portal, paysafe. The judges were impressed by how our simple application has helped to deliver efficiency in the payroll approval processes and add value with our 24/7 access to payroll archives. read the full details

Customer service complaints -
30 June 2009

The last few weeks has again seen a number of payroll enquiries for Dataplan based on poor customer service.

Voluntary code of conduct for payroll firms -
03 April 2009

Being April time we always pick up a significant number of new clients ready for the start of the new tax year.

Unusually, we have hearing a number of negative stories over service provided by and the treatment of customers using payroll outsourcing services this year.

As a Chartered Certified Accountant, working in practice it worries me that the payroll outsourcing industry is largely unregulated. How can our customers have the confidence that as an industry we will provide to our customers read the full details
